Fingerings for the notes in Row, Row, Row Your Boat

How to practise it

The "merrily" line drops through four groups of three quick notes, from high D down to low D. Tongue each one lightly with "doo", and take the line slowly until the groups feel even.

Learn one line at a time. Play it slowly until every note is clean, then join it to the next line.

About the tune

The words appeared in print in 1852 and the tune is credited to Eliphalet Oram Lyte in 1881. It is a round: once you can play it, a second player can start when you reach the third bar.
